Kostroma

Kostroma is an old Russian town on the banks of the Volga river, it was founded in 1152 by Yury Dolgoruky. It is a significant constituent of “Russian Zolotoye Koltso”. Getting acquainted with the monuments of the city, we recall the famous characters such as Ivan Sussanin, Mikhail Romanov, Boris Godunov, the heroes of Ostrovsky’s plays.
